I am collating the cycling route maps that I have mapped out into a several blogs for readers to refer to them more easily. Below are maps of routes that I have done in the various states of Malaysia:

Cycling Malaysia

Malaysia is my home country, it is a beautiful tropical country, one of diversified race, culture and religion that has resulted in a melting pot which has presented a multi-colour, multi-facade face to the world. This diversity has made the country a Truly Asia country, come here and one can experience almost all of Asia.
It's here that we have done most of our rides, many in the cities and others in the rural country side.

Our 7-day cycling tour from Sungai Buloh to George Town via an interesting coastal route take took us through rustic roads, rural villages and using an unknown river boat crossing.

A 5-day tour from the northern border of Malaysia down to Penang. One that take us pass scenic paddies and coastal fishing villages along a quiet rural route.

Pahang is the largest state in Peninsular Malaysia. We seldom ride there, but when we do often the rides turned out to be epic.

Penang is an interesting place of diversified culture & great food. Most importantly to cyclists, it becoming more bicycle friendly.

Perak, a state once well known for tin mining and one that is presently rediscovering it's heritage, has many interesting places to cycle in - from towns to small fishing villages, from hilly areas to waterfalls.

Cycling Perlis

Perlis, although the smallest state in Malaysia surprisingly have some interesting routes as it has one of the oldest hills in the country and some cross culture being just next to Thailand.

PUTRAJAYA

Cycling Putrajaya Rides

Putrajaya is the administrative capital of Malaysia. A new city, it has many interesting places to cycle in, including a lovely lakeside, board-walks, a bamboo grove, and even a pine forest.

SABAH

Cycling Sabah 2015 - To The Tip Of Borneo

Our cycling adventure to the Land Below The Wind turned out to be multi-mode and multi faceted bike-packing journey that include air-travel, boats, ferries, buses that took us on a multi-faceted itinerary that include scuba-diving too!

SARAWAK

Cycling Sarawak

Sarawak, the largest state in Malaysia with it's diversified people & culture offers a wider range of rides. We only touch a tip of this range with a ride to celebrate Gawai, and later a Brompton event that attracted international participants.

SELANGOR

Our rides in the state of Selangor, Malaysia and we ride very often here too - to waterfalls, padi fields, sea side bunds, fish sanctuaries, foodie places, etc.

TERENGGANU

Cycling Terengganu

Terengganu with it's rural charm of scenic beaches and rustic kampongs is a beautiful place to ride in.
