Perak : Tour de Kampar 2020

Gopeng to Batu Gajah/Pusing & Kampar to Tualang - Saturday & Sunday, 1st & 2nd August 2020:

Kampar>drive>Gopeng>Batu Gajah>Pusing>Gopeng>drive>Kampar>Tanjung Tualang>Kampar.

Just about a couple of hours drive OR a couple of hours ride on the ETS train from Kuala Lumpur, the Kampar locality is a favourite for us from the Klang Valley to cycle around - One can opt for a quick day trip or perhaps stay a couple of nights. My first ride there was to attend a 2013 Charity Ride for UTAR, and the latest was a 2014 Ride from Kampar to Ipoh. How time flies, it's been SIX YEARS since I last cycled there.
This time round, led by Andrew Lau, some of us will be having some fun there again!

Tour de Kampar 2019 Day 1: Gopeng To Batu Gajah & Pusing - Of Castles, Murals & Puppy Ducks

From Gopeng we rode to Batu Gajah & Pusing; enroute were stops at castles, wall murals and a meal of puppy duck.

Tour de Kampar 2019 Day 2: Kampar To Tanjung Tualang - Of Prawns & Punctures

A loop from Kampar to Tanjung Tualng to savour the town's famous prawns, enroute some punctures kept us entertained.
