PHILIPPINES CYCLING ROUTE MAPS

Below are maps of routes that I have cycled in the Philippines; this was at the Batanes Islands in the far north of the country.

Philippines Cycling Route Map: North Batan, Batanes

Route : North Batan Island - Marfel's Lodge>Basco Lighthouse>Vayang Rolling Hills>Japanese Tunnels>Valugan Boulder Beach>Marfel's Lodge

This ride was a short stint around the northern part of Batan Island, a sort of introduction to the beauty of the Batanes and local life in Basco, the provincial capital. We will ride to see the attractions at the hills and the beaches.

Ride Route : South Batan Island - Marfel's Lodge>Diura Fishing Village>Marlboro Country>Imnajbu Coastline>Itbud Village>Honesty Cafe>Marfel's Lodge
The route took us through several towns & villages, up to the Marlboro Country and also to the Honesty Cafe where they take honesty seriously.

Philippines Cycling Route Map: Hills of Mahatao, Batanes

Ride Route : Marfel's Lodge>Mahatao Town>Tayid Lighthouse>Mahatao Windmills>Mahatao Town>Marfel's Lodge
The route took us along a short coastal stretch to Mahatao, from there we headed up for the hills and their attractions. The road up can get rather steep, even up there some roads are just to steep to cycle; so we just came down and pushed along those stretches. All the hard cycling/pushing made seeing the sights up there all the more worthwhile.
