A 5-day tour from the northern border of Malaysia down to Penang. One that take us pass scenic paddies and coastal fishing villages along a quiet rural route.

Perlis to Penang The Coastal Route Day 2: Lake Tasoh To Sanglang - Of Snakes & Padi Fields

From Lake Tasoh we headed to the coast passing by beautiful paddies; and then cycled through a pristine wooded park before reaching the coast that had green paddies on one side and the blue seas on the other.

Perlis to Penang The Coastal Route Day 3 Ayer Hitam To Yan - Of Museums & Dreamy Fishes

Continuing our coastal route, we visited an old fort, had dreamy curry and made some diversions inland after facing some punctures.

From Kedah we rode over to Penang Island on a route that included boat and ferry rides and along the way visited an unique whispering market.

It's a road trip as we head from Pulau Banding to Baling and it's along a hilly highway cutting across seldom used by men; yes this is virgin territory.

An interesting diversified day, starting with getting lost in quiet plantations, romping around Kulim town & ending with a colourful fairytale!

Cycling Kuala Kangsar To Gerik To Penang: Day 8 Kulim To Penang - Eating All The Way!

From Kulim we head for Penang Island via Lunas, and it was eating all the way. We did pull ourselves away from food to visit a nice temple though!
