Cycling Perlis to Penang Via The Coastal Route

A 5-day tour from the northern border of Malaysia down to Penang. One that take us pass scenic paddies and coastal fishing villages along a quiet rural route.

Perlis to Penang The Coastal Route Day 1: Padang Besar To Lake Tasoh - Of Trains & Lakes

By train from Kuala Lumpur up to Padang Besar, and then we kick off our debut cycling in Perlis.

Perlis to Penang The Coastal Route Day 2: Lake Tasoh To Sanglang - Of Snakes & Padi Fields

From Lake Tasoh we headed to the coast passing by beautiful paddies; and then cycled through a pristine wooded park before reaching the coast that had green paddies on one side and the blue seas on the other.
