Pahang Malaysia Cycling Route Maps
Pahang is the largest state in Peninsular Malaysia. We seldom ride there, but when we do often the rides turned out to be epic.

Batang Kali To Goh Tong Jaya Genting Highlang Pahang Cycling Route Map (47.22km)
The route is a straight forward one, starting at Batang Kali railway station we headed for the road that leads to Genting Highlands. We won't be cycling all the way up to Genting Highlands but will reach up till Gohtong Jaya before turning back.
It was only a short ride of twenty-three kilometres, but it was an excruciating continuous climb.

Bentong Village Loop Pahang Cycling Route Map (12.8km)
Cycling Route: Hotel Kristal>Bentong Gallery>Kg. Kuala Repas>Kg. Perting>Kg. Chamang>Kg. Kemansur>Bentong Walk>Kwong Fook Temple>Hotel Kristal.
The route goes around the new villages of Bentong and other places of interests, most of it flat with only some gentle climbs.
(Zoom out to see the Bentong Gibbon Retreat, Chamang Waterfalls, Perting Dam, Kechara Forest Retreat (克切拉禅修林), Bentong Hot Springs, & our lunch place in Kampung Bukit Tinggi, etc.)

Cameron Highlands To Raub Pahang Cycling Route Map (129.40km)
Cycling Route: Tanah Rata (Cameron Highlands)>Ringlet>Cameron Dam>Pos Betau>Sungai Koyan>Cheroh (Raub).

Distance: 129.40 km. | Level: Very Hard
The route starts from Tanah Rata goes downwards about 12 km. along Federal Route 59 (the Tapah-Cameron Highlands Road) to Ringlet. This stretch is steep with many sharp bends. From there its continues on the new Federal Route 102 (the Ringlet-Sungai Koyan Road) to Sungai Koyan before making a right to Federal Route 1504 to end at Cheroh.
Route elevation drops from 1,500 masl (meters above sea level) at Tanah Rata to 1,000 masl at Ringlet a drop of 500 metres; then it's another drop of 500 metres to the dam. Fifty-three kilometres from Tanah Rata it levels off to what looks like smooth gradual slopes.

Cheroh To & Around Raub Pahang Cycling Route Map (27.39km)
Cycling Distance: 27.39 km. | Level: Medium
The route goes through gentle undulating slopes leading to the villages of Sungai Lui, Bukit Koman, Sempalit to visit some cottage industries before heading back.

The route starts from Genting Sempah and heads to Bentong town, from there it heads towards the Chamang Waterfalls and the Perting Dam.

Genting Sempah & More Selangor Cycling Route Map (91.35km)
Distance: 91.35 km. Level: Hard
The route starts off passing through the residential suburbs of Setiawangsa and Wangsa Maju; and continues rural and secondary jungle from Jalan Gombak. After the Hospital Orang Asli (HOA) the road is a continuous until Genting Sempah before sloping down to Bukit Tinggi.

Genting Sempah To Janda Baik Pahang Cycling Route Map (29.80km)
Distance: 29.80 km. Level: Medium
We will start from Genting Sempah and ride uphill to Janda Baik. Our destination was the De River Resort, it's a homestay place. On our return we will have lunch at Kampung Bukit Tinggi and do a bit of shopping there too.

Kuala Tembeling To Taman Negara Pahang Cycling Route Map (60.00km)
Distance: 60 km. Level: Hard
Starting from Kuala Tembeling, we took a boat to cross over to the other side of the Tembeling River. From there we cycled along rustic village roads to head towards Kuala Tahan(one of the entry point to Taman Negara) with a regrouping point at Labu Sentral.

Distance: 52.06 km. Level: Hard
The route starts from from Kampung Tanjung Jelai after a short boat ride across the Pahang River from Kuala Tembeling. It will take us on a road that has numerous dragon-backs.
Note: this is a shorter route that avoids a major series of dragon backs.
